May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand.
May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with optimism and courage. Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone. May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace. May a kind word, a reassuring touch, a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them. Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending. Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love embrace you as you go into the world. May the teaching of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them. Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished. May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart. Find time in each day to see the beauty and love in the world around you. Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way. What you may feel you lack in one regard may be more than compensated for in another. What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future. May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility. Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience. May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on an other's judgments of your accomplishments. May you always feel loved. - Author Unknown

How To Become A ChristianIf you have never committed your life to Jesus Christ (i.e., become a Christian), all you need to do is ask Him from your heart to forgive you of your sins. Then, with His strength and help inside you, turn your life around. The following verses of Scripture will help you understand that God loves you and wants to forgive and save you: "All have sinned and come short of God's glory" (Romans 3:23). "...him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37). "...Whosoever will, let him take the water of life [i.e., salvation] freely" (Rev. 22:17). "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered" (Joel 2:32). You may pray the following words.
(The exact words are not as important as you meaning them from your heart when you pray. Put your heart into this prayer.) Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you today to forgive me of all my sins. Your Word says all have sinned and come short of your glory. That includes me. I receive the forgiveness that your Son, Jesus Christ, purchased for me by His death on the cross at Calvary. You said that without the shedding of blood there is no removal of sins. Jesus gave His life's blood on the cross to make me clean from my sins, and I receive that forgiveness right now. I receive your Holy Spirit into my life to live in me, and to lead and guide me in my Christian walk from this day forward, in Jesus' name. Amen. If you prayed that prayer from your heart, then you are a Christian, born again by God's Spirit. The Holy Spirit has come inside to live within you, birthing a spiritual nature in you. I pray that God will guide you and help you in this Christian walk for the rest of your life, giving you wisdom and understanding of living in a relationship with Him. |
